Dear Nic - Thank you for your faithful witness to God's love for the least of these! Would you please send me the James Standish piece lamenting America's 50k abortions? Also I have rediscovered my paper "The Wisdom of Solomon". May God bless you and your faithful witness to Him. George

Hi!

Here is the link to James Standish article:

When you have nothing else to do, visit my rebuilt http://www.sdaforum.com web site. My web service provider moved my site to a new platform, and I lost a good portion of my web data, but thanks the Lord, I was able to rebuilt the major portion of it. It consumed hundreds of hours of my spare time. I think that the enemy was trying to destroy what I had built over the years, but it failed.

I admire your stand for what is right, regardless of popular opinion.

Nic Samojluk

Thank you for the news, but especially thank you for standing up for the truth.

Hello Nic,

I'm enjoying access to your well presented SDA Forum, so I would appreciate having my address changed as I don't want to miss any mailings.  Since moving to the Denver, Colorado area to live closer to Milton and his family, my main e-mail address is now ...

Congratulations on the completion of an important topic thesis for your PhD and for sharing its information!

Ethel Hammerly

The "Readers Corner" used to be a rather popular feature of the original "SDA Forum" site until March 19, 2004, when it was discontinued with the introduction of the Bulletin Board, which made it rather reduntant to have two ways of allowing the forum readers access to the site. Things went well for some time, but then the abuse by spammers, and the purveyors of drugs, porn, and sex did force management to discontinue the direct access to the "SDA Forum Bulletin Board" and, bingo, the need to resurrect the "Readers Corner" became quite apparent.

If you desire to submit your comments, questions, or observations regarding any material featured inthis forum, please send it via E-mail to the address listed below. Publication of your submission is subject to the approval of management. Management does not expect you to agree with the views presented here, and expressions of alternate ways of intrepreting facts and opinions are encouraged.

I would encourage you to let me know how we are doing at the SDA Forum. I do not expect you to say nice things about what the Forum stands for. A little bit of constructive criticism should not be detrimental. Please, let me know your opinion and how we can do better! The one requirement is that opinions be expressed with the proper decorum.

Besides, I have over 1200 names on my mailing list. If you are not receiving my periodical mailings, please send me an E-mail and I wil gladly include you in my next mailing. This service is free to you. My regular mailing includes selected news dealing with current events, morality and ethics, pro-life and pro-choice issues, religion, origin of life, and miscelaneous topics. You can also post your comment or suggestion on this website online in response to any item or else start a new thread. My E-mail address is listed  below.

Hello Brother Samojluk,

Today I saw your website for the first time, and was pleasantly surprised to see many good articles regarding the need to protect the unborn life, and a couple of articles that seem to show the true sideof the Islamic problem.

But do your comments about the inerrancy of the Bible tend to uplift the Bible, or put it down?  I wonder if you have ever read these verses in the Bible, or statements by Ellen White?

It is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word proceeding out of the mouth of God.

and:

The scribes of God wrote as they were dictated by the Holy Spirit, having no control of the work themselves.

May God guide us into all truth,

Daniel Winters

Dear Nic:

I am interested in EGW statement regarding medical evangelism. I am interested mainly because, considering the real priority contained in her Otsego message, it is difficult to find the focus on health which Loma Linda has implemented out of her 1863 suggestions.

Greetings

This E-mail from Dr. Ronald Notze, who has occupied high SDA positions of responsibility in the medical field in South America, Europe, and Africa, generated several electronic communications criscrossing the Atlantic Ocean. He did make several significant statements regarding the attitude of abortion and the policies in effect at Adventist medical institutions in the areas he did serve the church for many decades. According to him, our Seventh-day medical institutions in Europe, Africa, and South American which were under his supervision had--and still have--a policy of no abortion services by our physicians. Querido amigo Nicolás,

Te felicitamos por tu tesis doctoral. Lamentamos mucho que no podremos ir el sábado a la presentación de la segunda parte. Tú estás llenando un vacío importante en esta área. Un abrazo,

My dear friend Nicolas,

Our congratulation for your doctoral thesis. We are sorry we won't be able to listen to the second part of your presentation this coming Saturday. You are filling an important vacuum on this issue. A hug from,

Dear Nic,

I read your announcement and I have started perusing through your dissertation. First, congratulations on this marvelous achievement in your life. I have called ... and next sabbath is on my calendar. I want to come and hear your summary.

Nic:

Yes, Darwinism having overrun America from coast to coast and from the Mexican border to the Canadian border, with the ungodly, unconstitutional public schools and adding insult to injury is the case, has never been addressed by you my friend, while I have several times strongly suggested it?

Today, Darwinism is a given as to curriculum in public schools, while God, the Bible and prayer evermore millions are wasted to see if God can even be sort of treated as "good" as a stray dog in this satanic educational system.

Yes, and, because, it quickly spread in America by this evil educational system it also became the tool indirectly to infect the whole world with it. Yes, this out and from America, the now nation under God!

Yes, all you say against this and other theories, is right on the mark and biblical. In close analysis public education is anti-biblical, period. Yes, USA public education is one of the greatest destroyer of Christianity in the whole Western World, with Christians total asleep while Satan does his thing in true silent manner.

Hugo [Schmidt]

Thanks for your comments! You are combining two separate topics:  Darwinism, and public education, and conclude that both are wrong. I fully agree that Darwinism is wrong because it presents itself as science, when in fact it is not. Its basic premises are: Natural selection, the survival of the fittest, and naturalism, which ignores the existence of the Creator. Darwinism to me has all the characteristics of philosophic speculation instead of scientific facts. If you click on www.sdaforum.com/page9.html and look at all the entries accompanied by the picture of Darwin, you will realize that I have not ignored said topic.

I cannot say the same about public education. The reason is very simple. Your argument is that it is unconstitutional for the Federal government to pay for the cost of running the public school system. I am not persuaded that your assumption is correct. How can I join you in your crusade against public education if I see no basis to declare that public education is unconsitutional? I would rather fight for public education to get rid of the teaching of a false science or fraudulent science, which Darwinism is, instead of abolishing public education. Doing away with public education would fill the country with illiterates, and I don't this is good for the U.S.!

Comments like this one keeps me going. In the last decade of the forum existence, I must have devoted at least ten thousand hours for the forum, ad honorem, of course, since this is a non-profit on-going project; and it energizes me to learn that this effort of mine is appreciated by some individuals.

Nic Samojluk

"Hi Everyone,

I personally thank you for the energy and effort to put together the forum. It is a noble act geared to exercise our freedom of speech and the opportunity you provide to users to express their opinions in matters of common concern.

Many people have an oustanding wisdom, which has been manifested in public by using the forum as a platform to provide excellent insights in tough times like we are going thru.

I would like to hear opinions from the youth. They are growing in an era of tremendous and fast change. The youth will outpour new way of thinking and express the struggle they deal with to maintain the basic principles of life.

Thank again and please keep it up.

Blessings,

Pat"

Hi Nic,

This is wonderful, thank you so much for writing and sharing it with me. Now I feel much better prepared to talk to ... about it. And also to give my talk tomorrow morning; your email is very timely and I appreciate the hard work you put into creating it for me. I’m going to use parts of this in my opening and then go into the background of Memorial Day and the development of it into a National Holiday. And finally, encourage our members to attend the Memorial services planned for our communities here and to remember their own loved ones who have passed from this earth.

I just praise God that you exist, so to speak! I hope that someday soon you can retire from your present occupation, and dedicate much more time to this the most important issue ever. No other issue is more important than this one. I tend to believe that it is superior to bringing members into the Church, etc.

Thanks for your compliment. I do recall several instances when my life could have ended, and I thank the Lord for preserving it for me. If I can do something with the little talent the heaven has granted me, I want to use it for his glory, and saving the unborn is a task for God's glory, I believe.

While the SDA church is busy trying to save those who were lucky to be born, I want to contribute my grain of sand for the saving of the unborn. This is why I started this forum. I am interested in all kinds of news, but doing something for the unborn fires me up more than any other thing that is taking place on earth.

I do this as my hobby, and I have invested over 10,000 hours so far [ad honorem, of course] in this forum since I started this back in 1974. Therefore, if you, the reader,  have any comment, positive or negative, please share it with me!

Of course Nic, you are the best on this issue! I can only say: Praise God! However, Nic, it is my firm conviction and conclusion that with our President who is personally firmly committed to the protection of the unborn, by him telling the world that all is well in America which ends up, wanting or not, including this issue of the unborn, and it indirectly plays into the hands of the prochoicers in a subtle way especially so in a Nation under God as the USA ever claims to operate under.

You see, in essence, in one pulpit George W. ferociously says one thing and than on the next one he ends up erasing that with his elbow, as the saying goes. Besides, as to the death penalty the same goes. Bush wants the death penalty to remain almost with same vigor as removing the Roe v Wade. You will find that prochoicers are generally against the death penalty.

In a true sense, the USA, the Nation under God sends ever more horrible confusing messages. More ever like an Empire than the Nation that the Founding Fathers envisioned and invented. Yes, sadly adopting ever more tactics all despots ever used but ended up selfdestroying. The most horrific military killing machine, the USA now the spying Capital of the world, America now the Nation of Casinos even for the purpose of educating its youngsters in the unconstitutional public schools, etc., etc., etc. Yes, wine women and song and now wine man and song!

Women becoming more violent by the day! Of course the mass grave of 47+ million unborn and no end in sight, murdered by American mothers! Yes, women in government more generally for abortion etc. You will find that women conservatives in governmnet are generally not vocal at all against abortion. Name me a one?

There is no question that a Nation that has and constantly re-submits itself to God, this same God judges that nation under that high calling-standard.

Question: Do you think that the USA is on the mending road or ever deeper and deeper in immorality of all kinds? You did agree sometime that this nation is a murderous nation, etc., etc., etc. Do you see signs even in Adventism of a trend back to the sanctity of life from conception?

Hugo [Schmidt]

******

Nobody is beyond repentance, forgiveness,  and redemption. The Seventh-day Adventist Church did err half a century ago when it collaborated with Hitler while the genocite of the Jews was in full swing. Recently the German and Austrian SDA leadership of the church issued an apology for this. Today, our church is making the same mistake--this time regarding the genocide of the unborn. My hope is that our SDA brethren realize this and alter the course of the church on this issue now instead of apologizing half a century later for the mistakes of their predecessors.
